Community Snapshot: Sunrise Elementary now has a changing station to accommodate students with special needs, thanks to the New Mexico Elks Lodge Association of Cerebral Palsy Commission. Each year, the Elks Association funds certain projects to help give back to the community. This year, the New Mexico Elks Lodge Association chose to support people living with cerebral palsy. The New Mexico Elks Lodge Association of Cerebral Palsy Commission donated more than $1,000 to purchase a new changing station for students with special needs at Sunrise Elementary.
